VH1 - Lil' Miss Rap Supreme

Nominated for 2009 Mark Award (in the Program Promotion and Tune-In / Any Other Digital Media category)

Miss Rap Supreme was a show on VH1 documenting the search to find the next great female rapper. To promote it, we created a viral video campaign that mashed together two instruments of viral video success: music video parodies and cute little kids. The videos lived on VH1.com in a hidden part of the Miss Rap Supreme microsite, like a DVD Easter Egg. We created buzz about the videos by posting on the MySpace pages of Miss Rap Supreme contestants and reaching out to key hip-hop and reality TV blogs. The videos ended up being featured on dozens of blogs and websites as well as mainstream publications like Rolling Stone.
